Albert DURAZ (1926-2004) : Artist, sculptor and goldsmith from Lyon, developed his style after the war, strongly influenced by romanticism, fantasy and lost civilisations. Much inspired by the authors and painters of his time, he worked extensively for the theatre. He helped French jewellery break out of the shackles of Art Deco and the Tank style by breaking with the classical rules of form, developing genuine jewellery-statues filled with forgotten or future imaginary worlds.
