with a shaft covered in cut and riveted mother-of-pearl and brown horn inlays, the ends finished with gilded copper alloy fittings decorated with engraved scrollwork enlivened by floral stems. Blade in engraved iron decorated with birds amidst foliage, fleurons and plant friezes damascened in gold. Socket featuring a lion attacking an ox.
