20TH-CENTURY IRANIAN WALL TILE rectangular in shape, made of siliceous ceramic, with moulded decoration, and painted in shades of blue and turquoise, depicting Hossein, dressed as a warrior, seated on a large armchair, holding a cup in his left hand. He is accompanied by a soldier presenting him with a bouquet; above him is a multi-lobed cartouche inscribed with the name Hossein. (Cracked). Iran, 20th century. A GLAZED EARTHENWARE MOLDED WALL CERAMIC TILE, IRAN, 20TH CENTURY. DIM. 24.5 X 20 CM (9 5/8 X 7 7/8 IN.)
