A fine Arabic manuscript on paper. 15 lines per page in gold, with black diacritical marks and red vowel signs within a double gilded border. Double frontispiece illuminated in gold and polychrome. Titles of the Surahs in red within cartouches. Red and black marginal annotations. Later rebinding, in painted and lacquered papier-mâché, with a floral design of roses and gol-i bolbol nightingales on a garnet background. In a cloth slipcase.
