The case design echoes this principle through the two extensions at the sides of the case which are secured by lateral screws, keeping the rubber seal compressed between the bezel and case body. As the Nautilus was originally manufactured in steel, it was also Patek's first foray into the world of luxury sports watches. This particular model is a reference 4700, it was the first ladies Nautilus to be introduced and was produced between 1981 to 2004.
