Dial: Tropical 'chocolate' patina, luminous baton hour markers, white outer 1/5th second divisions, subsidiary dials at 3, 6 and 9 for running seconds, 30 minute and 12 hour recording, polished dagger hands with luminous inserts, centre chronograph hand
Case: Brushed and polished tonneau form, screw down back, crown flanked by twin pushers, tachymetre to fixed bezel
Strap/Bracelet: Later stainless steel 1068 No.12 Omega link
Buckle/Clasp: Signed but later folding clasp

The current reference houses the renowned Omega calibre 321 which was first introduced in 1942 having derived from the calibre 27 CHRO C12 which was a chronograph movement with 12-hour recording. The calibre was the first movement ever used in the Speedmaster in 1957. In 1968, the production of the calibre 321 ceased and it would not re-emerge until 2019.
