JULES CASIMIR WIELHORSKI (1875–1961) PANEL FROM THE ‘LA FERMETTE MARBEUF’ RESTAURANT, PARIS A composition of polychrome glazed earthenware tiles, arched in shape, depicting a turkey against a floral background, with a moulded wooden frame. c. 1900. Height: 98 cm; Width: 179 cm; Depth: 6.5 cm. Chips, damage; the lower moulding is missing. PROVENANCE. Small dining room of the restaurant ‘La Fermette Marbeuf’, 5 Rue Marbeuf, Paris, 8th arrondissement. Dismantled in 2018.
