ENTRE-DEUX CABINET, counter-height, in blackened wood with brass marquetry on a tortoiseshell background, in the style of André Charles Boulle. Opens via a door with a central decoration comprising a large medallion flanked by four spandrels. Ornamentation features chiselled and gilded bronze details such as mouldings, lock plates (one of which is a faux lock), espagnolette-style finials, ovals and acanthus leaves. White marble top with moulded edges. Napoleon III period.
