Christa WINSLOE-HATVANY (1888–1944) ‘Antelope’ Bronze cast with a brown patina, signed on the rectangular plinth and marked ‘lost wax’. Signed and stamped by the foundry Susse Frères, Paris, with the number 1. (Some wear to the patina, slight scratches on the platform) Height: 38.4 cm – Width: 38 cm – Depth: 15.2 cm. Accompanied by a wooden plinth bearing a plaque with the inscription “Donated by Mr Jules Garde, Governor-General of Algeria”.
