Description
An interesting chasuble and its maniple, 17th-century style, second half of the 19th century, crimson damask with the Florentine fleur-de-lis, based on an Italian model from around 1630. Orfrois in red velvet, appliquéd with fleur-de-lis crosses in gold cloth; the back cross bears the Gothic monogram IHS on a radiating cartouche. Silk and gold braiding (slight wear).
