Grand Siècle embroidered gown for a costume ball for the show, circa 1900,
a peplum gown with wide cuffs and black velvet pockets, decorated with floral embroidery in beads and black glass cabochons, and fastened with faceted buttons. Matching buttoned breeches fastened at the calf. Faille and twill linings (markings under the arms, a few reinforced seams; one garter tab and some buttons are missing from the breeches).
