The Annunciation, figurative orfroi, Florence, Italy, late 15th – early 16th century, polychrome silk lampas and metal thread, (historical restoration), 17 x 15 cm. Several orfrois of the same type are held, notably at the MET in New York and the Bargello Museum in Florence. We are including two figures of cherubs in embroidery and tinsel, with painted skin tones, early 19th century, H. 13.5 cm.
