Description
Chasuble and stole from the early 19th century,
polychrome silk brocade woven with gold and silver thread, decorated with knotted bouquets set amongst garlands of roses and foliage. The orfries and hem are edged with gold braid decorated with vine tendrils, (discolouration in the lower part of the back).
We are including a composite damask dalmatic, with the orfrois bands in the same brocade as that of the chasuble (some damage to the damask).
