Caftan, probably from Morocco, second third of the 20th century,
brocade woven from gold thread and emerald-green silk, decorated with pomegranate-shaped fleurons and cruciform fleurons set against a network of ogival arabesques. The pockets and hem are edged with black soutache; it fastens with buttons and has a twill lining (with a few loose threads).
Comes with a matching braided belt in green silk and gold thread.
