A panel of lampas from a tapestry featuring the Fleur-de-lis of Florence, Italy, first half of the 17th century, lampas woven from crimson and lime-green silk, featuring a monumental repeating pattern of a baluster vase from which rises a large ringed finial adorned with motifs of flowering pomegranates, stars and flowers, and surmounted by a shell, (some signs of wear but vivid colours, lower section sewn together), 245 x 56 cm, pattern repeat: 150 cm.
