Pierre THEVENET (1870–1937) Sketch, mixed media, watercolour and Indian ink, 1930s, monogram in the lower right-hand corner. Note: this drawing, like other sketchbook drawings, was produced whilst his wife, Madeleine Renaud-Thévenet, was attending the Brussels Conservatoire to conduct the ‘Renaudins’ choir. On her return from the conservatoire, Madeleine would find the drawing under her plate. This work is reproduced in colour in the book: "Pierre Thévenet, images et souvenirs", p. 78. A copy of this book will be presented to the purchaser.
