Literature:
In a showcase in this exhibition, the death mask, cast in hospital by Lipchitz with the help of Dr Barrieu and Kisling, is of moving beauty. It is reminiscent of Pascal's, at almost the same age; one was from Auvergne, the other from Tuscany, but both have the same infinite nobility. R. NACENTA, Cent tableaux de Modigliani , cat. d'exp., Paris, Galerie Charpentier, 1968, p. 3
