Jean-Jacques GENY (1945–2021) The Fish Bowl A pair of oil and ink works on cardboard, signed lower right 23 x 16.2 cm and 22.8 x 16.1 cm A painter from Lyon, Jean-Jacques GENY exhibited on numerous occasions in France, notably in Lyon, Sète and Paris. In 1996, he was awarded the Grand Prix at the Lyon Spring Art Fair. A long-standing figure in Lyon’s cultural and artistic life, he served as director of the French School for Press Officers (EFAP) for 25 years.
