Jean-Jacques GENY (1945–2021) Delicate figures A pair of mixed-media works on stiff paper, signed lower right and dated ‘98’ on one Approx. 16 x 22.8 cm A painter from Lyon, Jean-Jacques GENY exhibited on numerous occasions in France, notably in Lyon, Sète and Paris. In 1996, he was awarded the Grand Prix at the Lyon Spring Art Fair. A long-standing figure in Lyon’s cultural and artistic life, he served as director of the Ecole Française des Attachés de Presse (EFAP) for 25 years.
