Jean-Jacques GENY (1945–2021) Figures A combination of two mixed media works on paper, signed lower right, one in grey and the other in brown 32 x 24 cm A painter from Lyon, Jean-Jacques GENY exhibited on numerous occasions in France, notably in Lyon, Sète and Paris. In 1996, he was awarded the Grand Prix at the Lyon Spring Art Fair. A long-standing figure in Lyon’s cultural and artistic life, he served as director of the French School of Press Officers (EFAP) for 25 years.
