Set of four photographs, framed silver gelatin prints (unframed), including one duplicate. On the reverse of the mounts, stamped ‘Marcel Marceau auction of 26 and 27 May 2009’. Handwritten annotations for one montage: ‘Théâtre de l’Ambigu: the Marcel Marceau Company performs “Paris qui rit – Paris qui pleure” – Marcel Marceau in the role of the newspaper seller, directed by M.M., 1959’. Visible image sizes range from approximately 30 x 20 cm to 30 x 24 cm. Framed sizes range from approximately 29 x 21 cm to 30 x 24 cm. Signs of wear, warping. One framed piece is cracked.
