President of the United States of America / Portrait of Richard Nixon. Set of 3 silver-based photographic prints, stamped on the reverse by the ‘Keystone’ agency for one, by the photographer Fred Ward (1935–2016) of the ‘RAPHO’ agency for another, and by the ‘AGIP Robert Cohen’ agency, 1 label with typewritten text affixed and handwritten annotations. Circa 1970, average dimensions 23.5 x 18 cm (2) and 30.5 x 22.4 cm (1). One print shows Richard Nixon displaying the newspaper reporting his birth, which he had received as a gift; a reception at the White House attended by the Nixons and the family of pianist Duke Ellington; and the US President playing the piano.
