With a frontispiece [engraving of the Tower of the Temple] and a separate plate on pp. 90–91 [cross-section of the 2nd and 3rd floors]. Facsimiles of typographic notes at the end. Cardboard cover covered with paper embellished with ink borders, featuring a red fleur-de-lis, imitating a bookbinding, with a handwritten title on the spine. First edition of the first printing, addressed to No. 29 Great Pulteney Street, London.
