Editions de Prestige, Le Chant des Sphères, Sefer Art Binding. 1988–1989. 2 folio volumes, 140-(10) pp. and 134-(10) pp., full leather, black for Volume I, red for Volume II, with the author’s name in Chinese characters in metal lettering on the front covers, the covers framed by a quadruple intaglio border containing abundant Chinese-style motifs, plain spine with the author’s name framed by a gilt motif (pagoda), and cold-stamped motifs (dragons, flowers, birds), gilt headband, endpapers in red and black moiré fabric, slipcase in the same fabric. Numerous miniatures within and outside the text. One of the XXXII special copies, number XXX, enhanced with four original collections and comprising, in each volume, two original, previously unpublished colour illustrations, a colour suite of the frontispiece illustrations on pearlescent Japanese paper, and a line-drawing suite in red Chinese lacquer of the illustrations within the text and frontispiece on pearlescent Japanese paper.
