Volume 5 1 Japanese-style softback in-8 volume, 60 pages illustrated with 41 three-colour Japanese woodblock prints, most of which are double-page spreads.One of the 15 volumes originally published between 1814 and 1878 by Eirakuya Toshiro (Nagoya) and later by Kadomuraya Jinsuke, forming Hokusai’s Manga. The Hokusai Manga comprise Hokusai’s sketchbooks, depicting the flora and fauna, scenes of daily life and the fantastical world of Japan during the Edo period. The print runs of these volumes are very often impossible to determine, as the publisher reprinted them as and when demand arose, without necessarily updating the dates or other details. Complete with the cover and slipcase that originally contained the first five volumes of this series.
