Conceived in 1962 and produced in 1982 (posthumous multiple edition), this work is number HC XVI of an edition of 300 + 50 HC and 3 resin copies with the artist's monogram.
This work is registered in the Yves Klein archives.
Madame Françoise Pfyffer-Del Campo was responsible for the creation of the (posthumous) edition of La Vénus d'Alexandrie (Vénus Bleue, S 41), produced in 1982, in collaboration with Galerie Bonnier and in agreement with Madame Rotraut Klein-Moquay (Yves Klein archives).
This sculpture has remained in the family of Madame Françoise Pfyffer-Del Campo to this day.
