On one reverse, handwritten annotations in ink including "Daguerre, artist born in Cormeilles (Seine-et-Oise) imagined the diorama, perfected photography invented by Niépce, his name alone Daguerre (...) 1951"; on a second reverse, typed label "Didier Frères, Photographes des Vosges à Dompaire (...)". Average visual size on view: approximately 9 x 7 cm to 11.5 x 9 cm. Average full size approximately 17.5 x 14.5 cm to 22.5 x 19.5 cm. As is, with tears and marks. One frame broken.
