Dehors et Deslandres "As de Carreau" camera, circa 1887. As is. N.B. Jean-Marie PRADES: Built by Dehors et Deslandres. Several patents were registered for this instrument, the first of which bears the number 182 231 dated 16 March 1887. A very complete camera, it measures exactly: h = 14.5 cm, L = 14 cm, e = 4.10 cm body + chassis, e = 2.8 cm body alone. The lens is a rectilinear 55mm focal length and the shutter is spring-loaded for speed and exposure. Each double frame can take eight shots of 5 x 5 cm each (...).
