MAISON LENOIR – 14 Rue Royale, Paris. Sycamore box entirely covered in pink stingray skin and adorned on the lid with a brass ingot mould. Circa 1920–1925. Marked in gold on the inside. Height: 6.5 cm Width: 21 cm Depth: 12.5 cm Notes: MAISON LENOIR was a Parisian luxury firm that billed itself as a supplier to the Duke of Orléans, the King of Sweden and the King of Portugal. Active between 1900 and 1920, it was based at 14 Rue Royale in Paris.
