Description
Attributed to Michel LUCOTTE (born in 1931), Free-form ceramic vase with a white-toned glaze. Circa 1960. Height: 27 cm Michel Lucotte, a former student at the Dijon School of Fine Arts, was passionate about ceramics and was just 17 years old when he produced his first pieces. His sculptural works, with their clean lines and originality, are rare, though they were made famous by Jacques TATI’s film *Mon oncle*, in which a majestic white vase, perfectly in keeping with the style of the ARPEL couple’s modernist villa, features.
