Sylvie Koechlin (born in 1956 in Dijon) has, since the 1990s, been producing works primarily carved from stone and marble. Among her major works are the monument to Anne de Gonzague, Princess Palatine, for Asnières-sur-Seine (1998), the two granite sphinxes on the monument to Auguste Mariette in Boulogne-sur-Mer (2004), *Le Satcheu*, a monumental sculpture in Boulonnais marble (2006), and *Gutenberg’s Printing Press to the Present Day*, a mural in marble and bronze (2007). In 2009, she created the Prix d’Amérique trophy, in black Namur marble and stainless steel. She is also the creator of the monument to Alfred Dreyfus, unveiled in Mulhouse in 2016. Two of her sculptures, *Kéa* and *Sourire*, have also been produced in pâte de verre by Daum.
