Jean Michel WILMOTTE (born 1948) ‘Todo Modo’ A design created in 1991 for the Louvre Museum and produced from 1993 onwards. A set of four large armchairs with a reversible backrest system that can be arranged to form a double bench, featuring a wooden and steel frame and black leather upholstery. Venice Editions, circa 1991. Height: 67 cm Length: 90 cm Note and comparative piece: Designed for the Grand Louvre project in 1993, the “Todo Modo” was a commission from the State to Jean-Michel Wilmotte, with the aim of allowing the works of art to be viewed from all sides.
