Silver condiment set. Paris 1809–1819
Silversmith: Vahland.
Comprising four round salt cellars and a lidded mustard pot on a moulded pedestal. The bodies are openwork with channels. The salt cellars complete with their cut-glass ovate liners; the mustard pot complete with its blue glass liner and a condiment spoon with a shell-shaped bowl (Minerva hallmark).
A colourless inner lining has been added.
