Early 18th-century chest of drawers with a curved front
This chest of drawers with a curved front features a moulded wooden top. The decoration consists of plum wood veneer and amaranth fillets.
The rear leg is set back. It is veneered with a curly pattern featuring geometric designs.
It has a base with rounded sides veneered with fern-patterned wood and features three drawers in three rows at the front.
Decorated with six original drawer handles
Made in eastern France during the first half of the 18th century.
Height: 85 cm – Width: 132 cm, Depth: 61 cm
Chips in the veneer and areas missing. Piece in need of restoration.
