A console table in flamed mahogany veneer with twin freestanding, ring-mounted columns, surmounted by two decorative motifs depicting a hooded man holding a staff and a soldier at rest, arranged symmetrically in pairs on either side of the waist-level drawer, which is adorned with a plant and floral frieze centred on a laurel wreath simulating a keyhole. At the front, two straight legs frame a mirrored panel. Top in grey Saint-Anne marble. Chips to the rear of the marble. Dated to the early 19th century, First Empire period. Height: 84 cm. Width: 101 cm. Depth: 46.5 cm.
