A set of four stamped terracotta medallions comprising: - Suzanne JARENTE de la REYNIÈRE (1736–1815), dated 1769. - Benjamin FRANKLIN, with the Latin inscription ‘Eripuit coelo fulmen, sceptrumque tyrannis’, dated 1779. - Louis XV in profile, signed beneath the bust. - Dr DORNIER; a similar example can be seen at the Metropolitan Museum under catalogue number 49.20.4 Diameter: 13.5 cm Minor wear and tear.
