A ruby-coloured field featuring a pink floral trellis, set with small ivory-coloured flowers, is enclosed by an old-gold figurative moulded frame, with a wide ruby-coloured border adorned with a garland of undulating multicoloured acanthus leaves. Each corner is embellished with a circular medallion featuring a basket of polychrome flowers. A fine example of the Directoire style.
