"Lub-e lubab". In-8°, unprimed oriental paper, black and red ink, 11 lines per page, nastaliq script, headings and text frame in red, acephalous (top of text on first leaf covered with later sarlawḥ) (marg. wormholes, hole in last f.). - Persian literary text, "Mirror of Princes" type, illustrated with 10 paintings (hunting scenes, tournament, banquet). The margins of the illustrated leaves are decorated with animal, plant and floral drawings in ink. The colophon is noted in red and gives the title ("Lub-e lubab"), the name of the copyist and illuminator (Nāṣir Rammāl b. Hayḍar Rammāl Širazī), the name of the patron (Ḥajjī Sayyid Alṭāf Ḥusayn, living in the Wān casbah in Hindustan) and the date of copying: '11 ṣafar 1276 A.H.', i.e. 9 September 1859. - Prov. Ḥajjī Sayyid Alṭāf Ḥusayn.
