48. An Empire urn-shaped clock in gilt-bronze
The white enamelled dial, featuring Roman numerals for the hours and bearing the inscription 'Détape Fils à Paris', is set into the body of the urn, flanked on either side by female figures holding the dolphin-headed handles. Rectangular base with a floral basket design. (Damage to the dial, oxidation, one handle detached, no key, no pendulum), 15cm wide, 11cm deep, 41.5cm high (5 1/2in wide, 4in deep, 16in high).
