A pair of Louis XVI style covered cassolettes in amethyst with gilt-bronze mounts, second half of the 19th century The three panels, decorated with busts of winged women and a frieze of piastres, are supported by garlands of foliage, a circular base and small feet. (slight oxidation, minor losses) 12cm in diameter, 31.5cm high (4 1/2in in diameter, 12in high).
