A pin holder in gilt-bronze on a malachite base, Russia, circa 1830 The rim features a guilloché pattern and rests on a central baluster-shaped shaft adorned with friezes of pearls and water leaves, set on a quadrangular base. (slight oxidation, a few bent hooks), 7.5cm wide, 7.5cm deep, 14cm high (2 1/2in wide, 2 1/2in deep, 5 1/2in high).
