120. A gilt and chased bronze clock depicting Aphrodite seated, first half of the 19th century
It sits on a white enamelled dial supported by two crickets, flanked on either side by children's heads spouting water. Rectangular base with rounded sides. (Part of the dial is missing; the hands are oxidised; no key; no balance wheel; the movement requires servicing), 35.5cm wide, 12cm deep, 44cm high (13 1/2in wide, 4 1/2in deep, 17in high).
