A Louis XVI vase-shaped clock in patinated and gilt-bronze The white enamelled dial is signed 'Briant à Paris' in red; it is surrounded by a ribbon bow and garlands of foliage, with the lugs on either side decorated with scrollwork, and a rectangular base. (oxidation, minor chips, no key, no balance wheel, movement requires servicing), 20cm wide, 11.5cm deep, 38cm high (7 1/2in wide, 4 1/2in deep, 14 1/2in high).
