A Louis XVI-style wall thermometer in gilt-bronze Rectangular in shape, it has on each side twisted half-pilasters, enserred with rosettes, putti, and foliage; it is surmounted by a covered vase and garlands of flowers (wear due to gilding, slight oxidation, missing the thermometer), 20cm wide, 4.5cm deep, 56.5cm high (7 1/2in wide, 1 1/2in deep, 22in high).
