A pair of large covered bowls in the form of athéniennes in patinated and gilt bronze, 19th century The central bowl, decorated with chiselled motifs of flowers and acanthus leaves, is supported by four legs with ram's heads and hooves, resting on a quadrangular base. (Signs of wear to the patina and gilding) , 15cm wide, 15cm deep, 43.5cm high (5 1/2in wide, 5 1/2in deep, 17in high).
