An important 19th century sang de boeuf-glazed ceramic basin The upper part features an openwork border of ovals; the sides have lion's-paw-shaped handles holding a ring; the base has a frieze of laurel leaves on a square plinth with curved corners. (oxidation and wear on the bronze), 33cm wide, 28.5cm deep, 30.5cm high (12 1/2in wide, 11in deep, 12in high).
