A pair of candelabra in chiselled bronze, gilded and patinated, depicting cupids standing in balance on a sphere resting on a fluted half-column with stylised palmette motifs, holding in one hand a branch (one missing) and, in the other, an arrow notched into a bow with bird-headed ends, accented by a garland of flowers and ribbon, forming the two light arms. The stepped quadrangular base (candlesticks, decorations and dents missing).
First third of the 19th century.
