Louis Henri NICOT (1878–1944) for the HENRIOT QUIMPER factory. ‘The Three Gossips of Yffiniac’. A group in polychrome glazed earthenware, signed in relief on the base, marked and numbered F.837 on the reverse. Height: 40 cm – Width: 35 cm – Depth: 22 cm This model, created in 1910, is reproduced in the book by Philippe Théallet and Bernard-Jules Verlingue, *Encyclopédie des Céramiques de Quimper*, Editions de la Reinette, Volume V, on page 208. The three women are wearing the Penthièvre costume from the Saint-Brieuc region and the Yffiniac headdress. Lot from a voluntary sale.
