Pressed-moulded violet-coloured glass paperweight.
Signed on the black glass base. Lalique France.
Height: 8 cm.
Created in 1942, this model was continued in 1947 under No. 1829 and was reintroduced after 1951 under No. 11-904.
This statuette appears in Lalique’s internal commercial documents under no. 1184, which is the same as that for a ‘Pan and Bacchantes’ liqueur cabinet.
