BAR WITH FOUR MINIATURES
OF ERNEST MAXIMILIAN ZORN OF BULACH (1786
–1868)
The bar is made of chiselled gold in the shape of a snake and features three
faceted rings: -The first with a Maltese cross in
enamelled gold (small chip). -The second with a cross of the
Swabian Order of the Imperial Knights of the Holy Roman
German Empire. In gold and enamel (small chips). -The last ring holding
a Saint Helena medal and a Knight’s Star of the
Legion of Honour from the Restoration period. Silver, gold and enamel
(chips), the crown fleur-de-lis damaged. Mixed ribbon.
Total gross weight: 12 g. Height: 40 mm. Very good condition. Also included is a
St Helena buttonhole with a mixed ribbon.
